The only one that seemed promising to me was a 1999 Geantet-Pansiot Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru , but even that did not have the same captivating factor as some of the other reds. The more I learn about wine, the more I realize that I don't know. Same is true with wine, I would say. Who knew. | WINE TASTING GUY MARCH 25, 2008 Skurnik Tasting - my favorites (finally) And their 2004 "Right Bank" Red, a blend of Cab Franc (53%), Merlot (30%), Petit Verdot (9%) & Cab Sauv (8%) was beautiful. The head of the lab encouraged us to try the samples frequently (which I did) so being able to now try the 2004 "Two Barrel Reserve" Cab FROM THE BOTTLE was a real treat.
