Chardonnay in his hands is really just a vehicle for expressing soil. | | | BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE FEBRUARY 2, 2012 Tidbits And they taste so very good. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6, 2011 An Evening with the Jura Wines of Domaine Ganevat At the dinner I tasted a red called J'en Veux for the first time. Considering the lineup of whites as a whole, I think that they might be as good as any lineup of white wines that I've tasted from the Jura. This is Chardonnay from vines of over 100 years old. Domaine Ganevat is in the Jura, in a town called Rotalier. MORE >> -
BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2011 Visiting Champagne Salon in Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger They make one wine and one wine only, a vintage Brut Blanc de Blancs made entirely of Le Mesnil Chardonnay. Calm, cool, collected. MORE >> -

BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | TUESDAY, MARCH 23, 2010 How to Buy Excellent Cheap Wine But for me to buy the Hofer Zweigelt, its excellence must derive from the smell and taste of the wine, and from its expression of place, not from the mere fact that it is palatable and costs $10. That great Beaujolais that sold for $12 in the 2002 vintage costs $17 now. I'm talking about wines that cost between $8 and $12 a bottle? MORE >> -
