In volume terms, this is largely thanks to Yellow Tail, created only in 2002 but has since quickly hopped to the biggest wine brand in the history of the world!! Without them, and the many specialty wine shops that sell their wines, this wine lover’s glass would be half empty. Everyone’s looking back!

Only problem - you won't find Poulsard at the local Wine Superstore, you may not even find it at your favorite little shop. But despite merely average years subsequently, the price only fell back to £3,500 in 2006 and £2,800 in 2007.

And ever since I banned people from getting wines at the closest store to our venue, a store that seems to specialize in unearthing wines that have been stored next to the boiler for several winters, the quality of the wines has risen tremendously and people really have a lot of run exploring the wine shops of the city. It is an assignment!

Maybe it's because the shops you frequent don't carry Dressner's imports. You will find both 2005 & 2006 vintages in stock. The 2005 is selling for $12.50 have found 2003 -2005 in stores ranging in price from about $ 13.50 kosherwine.com says their 2005 is sold out and I did not see the 2005 elsewhere. The Unfiltered is available in 2002 & 2003 , each for $50. category.

Too dense and hot and clunky for me, like a bull in the china shop that is my mouth (wow - am I that much of a priss?). 2002 Mazel Cuv é e Planet VdP de L'Ardeche (Rhône) - light, floral, perfume in the mouth, well balanced and absolutely delicious. 2005 Clos Siguier Cahors - I never would have guessed. Maybe a bit of both.

felt really good about it - it made me want to do more shopping at Moore Brothers. The 2002 Colin-Deleger Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers was much better. Not sure that it was so much better than, say the 2005 Macon-Charnay Vieille Vignes by Manciat, and that is literally one quarter of the price, but whatever. cents.

Before getting into the specifics, here are a few things that jump out at me when looking at our notes as a whole: 9 out of the 14 reds tasted were from the 2005 vintage, a ripe and glorious year. My 4's 2002 Domaine du Closel Savennieres les Coteaux Moelleux , $28 - this is a rare sweet wine from Savennieres, crafted only in certain vintages. 2005 Marechal Pommard La Chaniere , $50 - who would have thunk it? Just yummy.
