    What Makes a Good Vintage?
2005, on the other hand - a vintage of the decade. And who cares if you wind up liking a vintage that the critics deride? We also drank the 2002, although it was released as Limpido!, Everything, in fact, with the exception of 2002, is supposed to be very good. would drink the passable 2002 over the '97 every time.

There is no question that quality has been increasing in the past couple of years -- with the most recent wines garnering 93 points from all the major critics -- and indeed, the 1999 vintage produced a delicious Napa Valley Red, and 2001 produced an excellent Petit Sirah. History, like beauty, is in the mind of the beholder. Elegance.

Best bet (kosher) Israeli wines for Passover - at all price ranges.
You will find both 2005 & 2006 vintages in stock. Both are great (as long as the '05's which have been out for well over a year were stored properly) but the 2006 were rated slightly higher by Israeli wine critic Daniel Rogov. The 2005 is selling for $12.50 have found 2003 -2005 in stores ranging in price from about $ 13.50
