BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | MONDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2006 Weekend Wines and Eats read about Montevertine in Eric Asimov's NY Times blog and as I often am when reading his blog, I was immediately sold. 2002 Pian del Ciampolo was in stores until a few months ago and it was graceful, light bodied, but pretty intense wine. Fuller bodied than the 2002, intense smokey cherry and leather flavors, very earthy. MORE >> -
