BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | MONDAY, JUNE 18, 2007 An Old Rioja wanted to open a 2005 Burgundy with the mushroom lasagna, made with béchamel, somehow rich and light at the same time. But based on this bottle, I will definitely be back. And by the way, the Wine Doctor recently reviewed this same wine the other day, but the 1999 vintage, and enjoyed it very much. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2007 A Classic Burgundian Pairing Okay, you can stop feeling sorry for me now, and check out this neat bit of cooking we did the other night, paired well with a regional wine from Burgundy. In Burgundy, I was so glad to see chestnuts pop up so often on menus and in grocery stores. Anyway, this wine definitely smells creamy after a few hours open. MORE >> -
