And in comparison to Bordeaux prices and today's prices for California Cult wines, the 2000 Napa wines were (and in many cases still are) a bargain. SLAKED | WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2009 Online Wine Auction Prices Continue to Drop While prices for 1998 Latour remain high compared to 2004 levels ($200 versus $115) the opening price for 1999 has declined significantly in recent months. Likewise, prices for California Cult Wines have dropped, but with little consistency. Some vintages have dropped more. Grand cru Burgundy has also showed significant drops. MORE >> -
