A WINE STORY | SUNDAY, JULY 11, 2010 Chatting with Valérie Rousselle-Riboud of Chateau Roubine in Provence, France In 1994, she found Chateau Roubine, an expansive collection of vineyards and an enormous Chateau and bought it. Though she studied winemaking and oenology at the French Wine University in Suze La Rousse, she is assisted by Olivier Nasles (oenologist consultant), Jean Louis Francone in the vineyard, and Pierre Gerin in the cellar. Sometimes you just have to open a special bottle of wine. We had one of those nights this week. The palate is sweet and ripe, and there is great balance. MORE >> -
