The 1993 Riesling Spatlese Erbacher Marcobrunn had a golden yellow color and was sweet yet balanced with just enough acidity and had a very nice mouth feel to it. The 1993 Auslese Trittenheimer Apotheke Bollig-Lehnert on the other hand had a complex bouquet with a sweet round & nicely crisp mouthfeel that left me WOWed. MORE >>

Older vintages like the 1990 and 1993 have been enjoyable, subtle, but ultimately sterile. I don't drink Dom Perignon as much as I'd like to, and frankly the wine confuses me a little. have tasted Monte Bello cabernets from 1976, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1993, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2004, and I am constantly amazed by the wine's ability to age gracefully.
