I've had the occasion to taste some interesting whites this week, and all four of them would be perfect for to accompany dishes for a Thanksgiving dinner. Let's go to Italy for the first. VIGNA UVA VINO | SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2010 Salvalai Pinot Noir 2009 IGT From Venezie, Italy comes this 100% Pinot Noir with a simple but elegant profile. The nose finds a mineral edge with wild cherries and ripened red fruits, complimented by very simple but even flavors, reminding me a bit of a Montepulciano, slight spices on the back palate with a pretty finish.
