Oddly enough, Spain was an issue in both of them. Parker voiced his emphatic belief that Spain was the hot bed of originality because it was reclaiming many of lost vines and turning them into wines. One evening, after a day of swimming and fishing, we were able to relax with some relatives and a glass of wine. Spanish mackerel are not as pungently "fishy" as other mackerel, but they are certainly of that type. This is a fish that children will eat, assuming it is very fresh and simply prepared.
